So, anyway, I will be separating all the recipe posts. First up, we are re-introducing Elvis and Monkey with this Chunky Monkey Meets Fat Elvis smoothie!

This is hands down my favorite smoothie- probably because it tastes like a dessert! Who doesn’t love chocolate and peanut butter? Somehow the combination of banana, chocolate, and peanut butter just makes me extremely happy.

I’ve tried so many different recipes for this kind of smoothie on the internet, and haven’t had the best of luck. I decided to experiment, and Ive found that adding greek yogurt is NOT the way to go, which is the opposite of what I was seeing online. After many trials, I think Ive come up with the perfect combination of ingredients! And guess what? Based off the benefits of cocoa, honey, and nut butters I mentioned in this post, I’m pretty sure this delicious dessert smoothie will deliver some pretty great health benefits as well!

Give it a try- I don’t think you’ll regret it! πŸ™‚
